Programme Outcomes
After Successfully Completing B.A. Political Science Programme Students will have.
1. Collaborative & Organisation skills :- Skills of working collaboratively in teams and plan as
well as manage their workload.

After completing successfully this course Students will be able to:
1. Describe background & features of Indian constitution.
2. Explain Fundamental Rights, Duties & Directive principals of State Policy.
3. Describe Federal Structure of India & related issues.
4. Discuss Structure of Central governmental bodies.
5. Discuss & explain Structure of State governmental bodies.
6. Increase knowledge Party System & Elections in India.
7. Discuss role of Caste & religion in Indian Politics.
8. Awareness issues of regionalism & development in India.


SYBA, Course 2167- Political Theory and Concepts ( Pattern – 2014 )
After completing successfully this course Students will be able to:
1. Define the Political Theory, Nature& Scope , tradition of political theory.
2. Discuss the state and perspectives on state.
3. Explain Conceptions of power and meaning, nature and forms Authority.
4. Discuss meaning, nature and kinds of right & various dimensions of justice.
5. Define & Classification of liberty & meaning, nature and types of equality.
6. Explain Concept and perspectives of democracy.
7. Discuss meaning and characteristics of sovereignty, theory of popular sovereignty.
8. Interpret concept of globalisation, and impact on india.


TYBA, Course 3167- Political Ideology
After completing successfully this course Students will be able to:
1. State Origin, meaning, Definition, nature & Scope of Ideology.
2. Discuss meaning, Definitions and Elements Nationalism, Progressive & Reactionary nationalism,
Internationalism.
3. Describe meaning, nature and features, Achievements and Limitations democratic socialism,
Types of Fabianism, Syndicalism, Guild Socialism.
4. State Factors responsible for the rise of Fascism, Concepts of Corporate State.
5. Discuss of Marxism, Concepts of Historical Materialism, Theory of Surplus Value & Marxian
State.
6. Discuss thoughts of Phule & Ambedkar on Equality Religion and Democracy.
7. Discuss meaning of Gandhism, Truth & Non-Violence, Theory of Satyagraha & Gramswaraj.
8. Discuss meaning & nature Feminism, Feminism in India, Caste, Patriarchy, Women’s
Representation.
