About Department

 

      Shri chhatrapati Shikshan & Arogya Prasarak Mandal Sanchlit Shri Sant Gajanan Mahavidyalaya, is one of the prominent college in Kharda, founded in 2002. Marathi Department has began, in the college in 2002. The department in the college teaches under-graduate courses to the students of Marathi Literature. The Marathi department has a glorious tradition of good results at university level. The department has a reputation that many students get success incompetitive Examinations and bright successful personalities in their future career. The department Organizes literacy competitive programmers such as elocution, essay writing and poem reading etc. The teachers of the department had also secured the coveted felicitations. Dept. organizes State level seminar. The department Publishes Wall-Paper. Some Programme under Lead College Scheme were also arranged. Various events and programme are arranged to enhance the reading, writing, understanding and expression skills of the student.

 

• Scope and importance of the subject:

        IMPORTANCE OF MARATHI

        1. The Marathi is a medium of Enhancement of the awareness.

        2. Marathi Literature is also the medium to establish people from various region, time, societies and culture.

        3. Language is the creation of a man but language Develops human being.

 

         SCOPE OF MARATHI

1.  To enhance student's communicative competence and to make them ambassadors of Marathi language in the global world today.
2. Aspirants can also work as a Social activist, Educationalist, Journalist after their B.A. Marathi program.

3. To review the tradition of various dialect   in Marathi language and literature.

4. Plays key roles in printing and electronics media in mass communicator.

5. To language competence leads to the student's empowerment and They can be prove themselve as citizens of India in the 21st century. Study of various literary streams of the Marathi and their development.

6. To study of social, cultural  and human  values from literature.

 The department is continuously conducting the programmes and activities to inspire and encourage the students. The fruitful result of it is the students are settled in different fields of Govt. Semi Govt. and different private sectors. To  enhance the department the creativity and artistic aptitude of faculty members & students. The department always tries effectively and effort fully.
